Ipanema

The Ipanema is the non-alcoholic and refreshing version of the Caipirinha. The Ipanema probably gets its name from the Rio de Janeiro district of the same name. Some sources suggest a different word origin. The word Ipanema translated means churned water. Its brownish color reminds the color of the Guanabara Bay in stormy weather.
